Colors: Sienna, Rust, Teal and Marigold body with a brown leather strap.
Fun Fact: Wane means "One" in the Wayuu language.
This Mochila bag is one of a kind and handmade by the Wayuu Tribe in the La Guajira region of Colombia. The traditional crochet and weaving technique has been passed down from generations of mothers to daughters and takes approximately 15days to complete. It's circular in shape, features vibrant colors, and a tassel drawstring closure.
For each bag sold, $5 is donated to help aid in providing food, water, and basic needs to the community and children of Colombia.
Ashleigh's notes: In working with leather on the large bags, I wanted to try something different and decided to swap out the woven strap for a leather one. I love that it gives this mini a little more of a structured look, perfect for summer festivals or fall weather dressing!
