To "foster" means to encourage or promote development and by purchasing from Fosterie, you're doing just that.
The items designed and curated here aren't just by accident. Along the way, they've been placed in this path with purpose.
Which is why we're dedicated to a slow fashion model, appreciating the craftsmanship and quality of traditional methods, and paying our artisans, small batch makers, and suppliers a living wage for products and services.
Meet our artisans below and learn more about the amazing people your purchase supports.

Jorge is a life-long leather-smith, and responsible for the sewing of our signature leather bags and camera straps. His attention to detail is unmatched! He also produces shoes and bags of his own designs.
